Henry V. Janoski, MBA, CFA, CSA is President & Senior Investment Advisor of JANOSKI INVESTMENT ADVISORY SERVICE, LLC, a registered investment advisor.

PHILOSOPHY

The investment philosophy of this firm is based on value investing, as outlined in the bible of the investment profession, "Security Analysis" by Benjamin Graham and David Dodd (first edition 1934).   As the former Chief Investment Officer of the Trust Department of a local bank, Henry continues to utilize his years of trust investment experience in a conservative manner, especially in his call for a renewed emphasis on dividends, which have been neglected in recent years.   He combines his undergraduate major in history with his graduate school major in finance and banking, in order to better understand the history of the economy and the stock market, especially as they relate to an understanding of investment cycles.

PUBLICATIONS

A summary of Henry's paper on "High Price/Earnings Ratios and the Stock Market: a Personal Odyssey" can be found here.   This paper relates how he saw in 1998 the coming stock market crash of 2000 and where he believes we are in the current investment cycle.   It has been translated into French, German, Italian, Arabic, Korean and several other languages on the Internet.   A more complete version, with footnotes, tables and graphs will be sent to anyone free upon request at the above address.
